Question for Crystal reports gurus *EDIT* figured it out

ok here is my problem.. I want to sort a report based on a field named BirthDay to get a list of peoples birthdays in the order they occur during the year.
The problem is the birthday field includes the year they were born so when I sort by it, I get the oldest people first, so I want to somehow sort by the date excluding the year. Does this make sense?

I haven't dealt with Crystal Reports since I worked for Corporate America!! So....I don't remember much about what drives the sorts on it. However, I suggest posting this question here. Good luck on finding the answers you seek my friend.

Thanks.. I figured it out, I converted the month and day to a number and sorted by that, then just hid that column.
