Question for Comcast users.

I am NorthEast and I recently got Comcast connection for home. For the first time I started using Newsgroups to download old mp3's (this are not even american mp3's and are around 30 years old). Any way the problem is Comcast has Giganews for news service which was really slow and took me the whole night to download like 5 mp3's(high quality 320 bit).

So I looked in to easynews.com service and I am thinking of paying up to get better speed. Do you think this will help my speed issue or do I have junk connection. I asking this because I don't have problems downloading from other P2P programs.

Any suggestions, experiences ???

you can test your connection speed at broadbandreports.com

i think getting easynews should help your speed issue since you said you do get fast speeds from file sharing progs.
