Question for business/store owners

What's the best way to track down suppliers or distributors? I've been working on trying to develop contacts for my business but its been really difficult tracking down distributors over the net. Is it always a problem trying to find suppliers for new business owners or am I going about this the wrong way?


I have the money and credit to buy supplies in large bulk orders, my problem is that I just can't find anyone selling what I need at a reasonable price. Any suggestions?

Call similar companies and ask who their suppliers are. Many of them won't tell you or won't be too helpful (assuming you will be future competition) but some may.

I've thought about going that route, but I figured I would'nt get far. I may have to try it anyway.
