Question for brilliant web gurus

Here's my predicament:

I'm an actor - a struggling one, at that. I have a website that's currently hosted through a flash template "website creator" - http://www.dynamod.com

These guys charge $10.99/mo for 75mb of space. That's a lot every year. I shouldn't have to pay that much :-(

No, that's not a typo.

I have little HTML/CSS experience. I can do some basic customizations to a template but things like embedding a quicktime video as my reel or a photo gallery with headshots is totally beyond anything I might be able to do.

So, my question is - how much would it cost to have a similar page, with very basic stuff, designed for me?

maybe less depending on the specifics

video and slideshows are things even MySpace can handle.

You can probably find a cheap provider to handle that. I'd ask around on acting forums as this sounds like a typical need.

Yes EVERYONE knows there are specialty sites for anything. Many fail and many are overpriced.

I am assuming the OP is looking for a direct type page not just looking to be in a directory.
