Yes, mine does, about 50-51c. But then again, the hsf (retail 2500+) is much better than the prior one.

Yes it does... the larger core provides more area to dissipate heat through, and no extra heat is generated with a Barton than an equally clocked T-Bred B.

my 2500+ at 2600+ runs between 46 and 49 depending on the weather that day. today it's 49. the stock heatsink isn't too bad like pspada said. stick a delta on there if you so dare and get 3000+ easily

Yup, 50-51c, just sitting in windows. But realize, I'm in San Diego, and it's about 90f outside, though it's 15 to 20 degrees cooler in the house
