I've never been karting before... despite wanting to do so for so long now 
... but a little trip to an indoor go karting is in the works... just have a couple of questions for anyone that knows...
1. Can I use a full-face motorcycle helmet? It's only DOT approved... not SNELL... i used it for my MSF class. I'd prefer not to have to borrow or rent one...
2. I'm about 5' 9"... 165 lbs... we're going to be using 250cc karts... i'm guessing 7-10hp... 220-230lbs. Am i disadvantaged maybe to someone weighing 20lbs less than I am... considering none of us have gone karting before?
3. I'm a little freak aren't I for taking this thing a wee bit seriously?...
