:)

I've only gotten 2 things from newegg.com, and the use FedEx. The first time I ordered a burner, it was promptly delivered, and was put in our garage (it has no handle on it and can just be pushed open - long story) anyways, this time, apparently it was a different driver, and they did not leave it in the garage... why would it tend to vary?

And just out of curiousity, are they supposed to let the packages go without signature, or is it mandatory that they recieve a signature before delivery?

Thank you :)

I know what you mean! I leave the backdoor to my house unlocked and there's always cold one's in the fridge. I'll never understand why the FedEx person doesn't go through the gate, come into the house, leave the package on the table and grab a beer while they're there.

Simple Paulson, different people do different things. I'm sure they don't have a Forum like Anandtech, where FedEx people post things like If you go to this kid Paulson's house, leave it in the garage. And I doubt they have anything on file in terms of preferences, unless the sender specifies as such.

If you do have special delivery instructions, tell the sender when you order.

lol :)

I see your point...

However, I don't think you can specify where you want them to drop off such items, unless you can go to their website or call their 1-800 # and tell them your preferences.
