If I were to get a tatoo in the small of my back, would that interfere with my eligibility for receiving an epidural during labor? I heard a rumor about this. Thanks for all input.
 
an epidural is a needle stuck into your spinal column

i don't see how ink imbedded into your skin would be a problem

but i am not a doctor, i don't play one on TV and i didn't stay at a holiday inn express last night

besides, the epidural goes up higher than what i would call the small of your back
