Question for Antec Sonata II Owners

There is already a filter on the front and the fan attatches to the back of the hard drive cage inside the case, just like the original Sonata.

Look at the back of the hard drive cage, there's four mounting holes for a 120mm fan. It's not up front where you'd expect it to be.

According to the Sonata II manual on Antec's site it has a mount on THE BACK of the hard drive cage. Not the side next to the bezel, the other side next to the motherboard.

yup. not sure how much extra cooling it actually does since it just matches the one in the back. maybe if your case is really cluttered so airflow is poor. would certainly add noise.

I installed a GlacialTech SilentBalde 120 in there and on my Sonata I case. No noticeable increase in noise and a few degrees cooler on the mobo temps. Watch your temps and if they get mobo temps up toward 40*C then I'd add the front intake fan.
