I keep mine little over half way to the right. Of course farther to the right puts more sound through the rear speakers. This is if it is laying on the rubber feet thats on it.
When all the way to the right on my Santa Cruz it seems like more sound is coming from behind me then in front so like I said I keep it a little over half way.
i keep mine all the way to the right, paired with audigy gamer
at the middle i can't really hear the rear speakers... maybe it's cuz their kinda far away
either way all the way to the right cuz it doesn't affect the volume of the front speakers
Thanks guys, I have all 4 speakers in front (very limited dest space) 2 on the upper part of my desk and 2 on the lower part of my desk. I too found that I get fuller sound with the fade all the way to the right.
sean if I was you I would figure out a way to put the rear speakers behind you. Just find a tall box or something and put 1 on each side of you. It makes a huge difference IMO.
Yeah I just got off my lazy arse and finally took the 2 rears speaks off my desk and hung them behind me on the wall. Huge improvement, can't believe I waiting months to do it? I also keep the fade all the way to the right (best sounding for me).
