Hey, so I'm preparing another demonstration of an application of mine, and I'd like to overlay some text onto the video as a way of telling the user what is happening (think video tutorial of sorts).

What programs can I use to do this to an AVI file? Sound forge and adobe audition don't seem to support this... or do they?

Thanks!

And if you posted in the software forum it would generate more traffic there. In fact, I would have allready answered your question if you had posted there.

Adobe Premiere, or if you're the ultimate tightwad, go spend $50 retail on Pinnacle Studio (they're up to like, 9 now)

Studio is worthless for, well, virtually everything, but it'll do what you want it to.

If I am not mistaken that is a pretty simple task and most video editing software is capable of that.

FYI when I say video editing software think Pinnacle Studio, Ulead Video Studio, or if you're rich, Adobe Premiere
