well, not all of you. but hopefully someone who might know how to answer this question

i am at work, and i have having trouble installing AOL instant messenger. it says that i ahve to be an administrator to do so. is there a way around this???

Sounds like you're on a limited XP account... and that's one purpose of these. To limit what gets installed onto machines. 🙂

Word. You're pretty much SOL unless you can get access to the administrator's account to install AIM.
 
AIM express wont work either
you click on the submit button, and nohting happens. is that done in java?

Yep.

You can't do a remote desktop connection to your home computer?
 
Funny that Java is blocked on your account.... you probably could get that fixed.... as for installing the AIM client, good luck convincing the Admin

yeah
try to get access to his...wait

ask the admin if he'lll et you install it. if hes much of an admin he'll notice when you put it on and remove/block it anyway

if he doesnt care he may just let you install it and not bother you
