Question for 2001FP owners.... How deep is the base?

I have a 2001FP on the way and was wondering how many inches deep the base is. I am wondering if I can place the LCD on top of my center channel which is 7+ inches deep (and 19+ wide) I would then lower it on the base as much as possible. Thanks in advance
 
I just measured mine and it's approximately 9 inches deep. You might still be fine with it hanging off the edges a bit since the base is irregularly shaped.
