Question ... Enermax or Enhance PS?

Enermax, EG301P-VB 300 watt or Enhance ATX1125BTA 300W


Anyone know what one is better or are the both pretty good?

Both are very good. I tend to favor the Enermax PS's now because of the manually adjustabe fan version but that is just a personal bias.

Enhance makes a lot of noise. The fan is very loud. It also holds good voltages.

At the Enhance web site, the spec's on that power supply say that the fan moves 25 fps of air. I took mine apart because of the noise and changed the fan to a paniflo 21 fps fan, which should be quieter. It was quieter but did not have any were near the air flow though the power supply. I checked around the net and found the that the fan that was in the Enhance power was rated at 38 fps which is why it made so much noise. So I do not trust the info on the spec's of the Enhance supply. That said, I will say the power from the Enhance supply is stable and clean, it just makes more fan noise than I care for.

i haven't been able to find a better quality consumer power supply then enermax yet...

Both are good, if the price is the same then I'd go with the enermax because of the thermal control fan, should be a little quieter.
