QUESTION: Dual Branch Memory Bus

Hello,

Supermicro motherboards are stating they require "Dual Branch Memory Bus" for their RAM, what are they referring to?? Dual Channel??

Anyone know of a link to some literature on this topic?

I have to assume that yes, it's dual channel. Typical mis-stated translation from Taiwanese to English?

I would assume its different, though it may incorporate dual-channel(ness).
