Now Y isn't D.C count as 1 of the states?
It has 3 electrol votes so it should count

The reason why DC was made was so the nation's capitol would NOT be in a state, which would potentially give that state more pull. So it's a non-state.

I'm sorry, but there is no excuse for not knowing that DC isn't a state. They didn't put in the caveat that it isn't a state but has electoral votes because they thought that anyone who held citizenship and could read would be educated enough to know that.

Who says I don't know D.C isn't a state. Read my original post Mr. Lifer. I state that under the 50 state count everybody recognize that D.C is not counted as a state, but obviously this government website has them listed as a state.

Who says I don't know D.C isn't a state. Read my original post Mr. Lifer. I state that under the 50 state count everybody recognize that D.C is not counted as a state, but obviously this government website has them listed as a state.
