This is not meant as fact or opinion but as a theoretical question. And we are not assuming that Hamas would not do the same type of shit nor that this is questioning the morality of all of the Israeli citizens vs the Israeli government.

Well it seems that the captured Israeli soldier Hadar Goldin is now dead. What is odd is that despite all the fighting and atrocities the mere capture of one Israeli soldier was enough to possibly bring the Israeli government to the negotiating table with the Palestinians. Odd how nothing else could even the international outrage or Palestinian counterattacks. I mean is the Israeli state was that worried about their security that they refuse to end their offensive on the Gaza Strip for basically anything and yet one captured soldier nullifies all of the other security concerns of the Israeli government? I smell hypocrisy if true.

Anyways it seems he may have died either somehow in the control of Hamas or possibly he was actually blown up in Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip in retaliation for his capture. Now the Israeli Intelligence service seems to have some respect and renown as a very powerful and efficient intelligence service. It is possible that they knew where Hadar Goldin was after he was captured. Do you think it is possible that the Israeli government murdered their own citizen and soldier to prevent the necessity of going to the negotiating table with Hamas to ask for his release? Keep in mind that the Israeli military has been bombarding the whole Gaza Strip for weeks so they may have decided to camouflage the "political wipe" as yet more bombardment of Palestinian civilians.

Countries like America and Russia and China are not unknown to these types of situations or moral questions.

first of all, why would hamas kidnap or kill a soldier at this point? it benefits no one but the israel. they have an excuse to continue their aggression to steal more land and kill more brown people. 1 dead soldier and 1600+ dead palestinians.

hell hamas didnt even claim responsibility for it. they said they have no idea where he is. in fact is hamas anywhere to be found? NYT claims here that they have no pictures of hamas soldiers during this conflict.

http://www.jta.org/2014/07/31/news-opinion/nyt-on-why-no-photos-of-hamas-fighters-we-dont-have-any-1

they pretty good at hide and seek me think lol.

or could be agent provacateurs killing their own kind to blame others and keep the deception going. (see USS Liberty and the Lavon Affair. ) they tried the same stuff back in 2006 with missing soldiers to attack Lebanon.

Reporters in Gaza are threatened not to take pictures of Hamas soldiers or get shot. This is pretty widely known here but somehow never reaches the outer world.
Would you claim instead that it is actually just women and children who fire rockets, mortar shells and bullets because Hamas is a fairytale?

Anyway, norse, you are so disconnected from the realities of actual warfare. Information is not gotten by clicking a bubble on the screen like in some android game. There is no omnipotent viewer who knows about everything.
It took time and a lot of investigating to come to a proper conclusion. I laugh at your "political wipe" idea.

It's not even the women and children - nobody fires rockets, mortar shells and bullets. It's the evil Jews' Iron Dome and its insidious rocket magnet that sucks up innocent, peace-loving Palestinians' rockets and mortar shells and bullets (all of which were built strictly for humanitarian purposes) and brings them into Israel as an excuse to attack the peace-loving Palestinians and take what they have built.
