question concerning sanyo DP46848 and ps3

i noticed that there are 2 lights on my tv...one next to the 1080p number and a power light.
now my ps3 says to output to 1080p, so i should assume the tv is playing at 1080p?

i just got the ps3, and have had the tv maybe 2 weeks

i just wanna make sure im using the correct settings

It sounds like you are set correctly. I looked at the manual for your tv, but I see no mention of the lights you describe. It's for 2 models, so that could be why.

You could prove it yourself, by setting the PS3 to 720p, and then see if the light on the tv goes out.
