I'm building/upgrading some AMD and Intel systems for one of my customers. For the sake of simplicity, I'd just like to order a bunch of these considering their bang/buck ratio. But, I can't find any concrete information on Thermaltake's website concerning compatiblity w/ coppermines. Can anyone verify if these will work? I would think that they would, but I don't want to find out the hard way... TIA

I'm thinking of putting one of these on my Celeron 600. I've seen on several boards people saying they can get these one their 370 chips, they're just a pain to put on. That seems to be the case with this HSF and AMD chips too, it's just a tight clip. The only thing that's kept me from getting one of these is several people are saying they've had problems with their Volcano 2 vibrating.

Yeah it has some vibrations but that's from the fan. Jsut swap it out with a Sunon or Delta (but run that delta on the 7V trick). And that'll take care of the vibration.

The clip isn't all that bad. You just need a flat head and make sure it's sitting correctly. All you do is push down on the flat head and it should pop right in.

I think this HSF is meant for both Intel and AMD chips. Not sure though. I only have AMD right now.

barrese, I don't know whether or not they can be put on socket 362's, but they're already a pain to put on socket A's, let alone 362's.
