Question: Can I use balance transfer check on things other than blance transfer.

Hi,

I just start to use GM Card and they sent me two balance transfer checks that I can earn GM points with. However, I do not have any balance on any of my credit card account. I really want to take the advangage of this two checks. Can I use these two checks on other things? Like Paying rent?

How is it really different from normal things you put on these GM cards? You'd get points for those too, right? Don't be suckered into the credit card's games.

if you do you will have to pay cash advance fees
read your agreement it should say the fees.
usually 2% of the total plus a higher APR
so a $500 cash advance will cost you atleast $10
dont do it unless you have to
