question: bestbuy leadtek winfast Geforce 2 mx retail have tv/out?

This week which in today, saturaday, had a geforce 2 mx video card by leadtek for sale at 79.99 which was a 119.99 minus 40 instant rebate.
People tell me it has tv/out b/c retail price of the one that has tv/out is 119.99 while other say it doesn't. today i went to bestbuy and notice a return item of this video card. I ask bestbuy service to let me the see the card to determine if it has tv out? the box say tv/out is optional which i do not know what it means.

Also when i saw the card it did not have tv out.
it was strange and i wonder if someone bought it return it with a different card.
I'm not sure.
If you guys know or can find out please help me out.
Thanks
God Bless

MaDJoE,

your vid card only has 16 meg memory, versus this one which has 32 megs.

besides, voodoo stopped making video cards. i'm not sure how that would affect support on voodoo cards in the future.

i knew someone would say that. it doesn't really matter how fast the card is. it's the games it's compatible with, and the reliability. i have a voodoo 3000 and i wouldn't replace it with an mx if someone gave it to me(my boss has returned two mx--cardexpert and hercules--in the past month). the fact that all the horsepower heads are screaming geforce now makes no difference to me. i'm still playing the NEWEST and the BEST TROUBLE-FREE

and edit: to try to get this thread back on topic, dude--i think tv-out is added with a dongle of some sort--but i really don't know
leadtek doesn't have any info on their site?
good luck

Yea I agree with you...

IM running a Viper II and it runs all the games right now Flawlessly.. I like what I have now..and I'll most likely upgrade when I need to...

yeah, i've got a riva 128(diamond v 330) right here also along with a v3 2000 (3000 is elsewhere)
it's like riding around in a ford fairmont--people can laugh, but it's paid for, plus i don't have to worry about it being obsolete(cow done left the barn)

My experience with Diamond video cards (v330, v550) is more reminiscent of a Fiero. The power was not as advertised and it doesn't work all the time. Therefore, I would not buy into an unsupported product line if I were upgrading (but fine for the status quo).

My family had a green Ford Fairmont with orange interior that my dad won in a GSA auction from the Post Office. Were we being laughed at?

i had a silver one (with microwave burgundy interior) that shook uncontrollably if i drove over 45 mph
if anybody else wasn't laughing at me, i sure was
comments about v 330 see above

Bought myself one. No TV-out... it's on its way back to the store. Back to using the Banshee.

I bought the Leadtek MX when it first came out and I got the version that has TV-out, there is no dongle or anything, and on the box there is an extra sticker in the middle that says "TV-out supported" I'm not sure if this sticker is on all boxes, but this might be a way to determine.
