Bakeing cant solve everything, its usually good for the older geforce cards because of "solder problems" nvidia had on their cards.
It is possible to permanently damage a card from heavly overclocking, in which case your just out of luck.
However it could also just be degredation from you overclocking, in which case a little more voltage will solve the issues.
got artifacts on that card, but if its running a game then it's gone. but cold boot then I got problems again....
This sounds weird.... so when you reboot your pc, inside windows on 2D clocks, your haveing artificats but it plays perfectly inside games?
Try getting a BIOS editor and opening it up, then make your 2D clocks abit higher, and give them more voltage.
Maybe the guy you bought it from on Ebay was one of these people that love to "
undervolt" cards to save on energy.
And its clocks are simply too low/high?, getting to little power.
Could you try downloading a bios editor and opening the bios (dont change anything) just check what settings its currently at?
