Question: Are there mobos that will let me run my XP at more than 1.85Vcore settings from bios?

I've got ak31a and msi kt266a boards. Both of them maxed at 1.85vcore settings from bios. Is there any other mobo manufacturer that will users run their Xp at higher voltage? W/O any modification done to the mobo though. I know that you can set very high vcore voltage with that potentiometer mod thingy. I want the one that wont require me to do any hard mod to the mobo itself.

maybe I should I add- Any mobos based from any of the current chipset like KT266a, SiS735, or Ali Magik1 revC.

Sorry about that. This forum is a little slow lately. I don't know of any of those boards that go beyond 1.85 for sure. I do know the Epox 8k7a goes beyond 2. It uses the AMD760 chipset, which isn't quite as fast as the newer chipsets, but it is still a very good performer, and is known as one of the best overclocker boards available.

wind--You cant set your XP over 1.85 with ak31a--anything over that in bios just simply set the voltage to default voltage.
You can set it over--but hard mod needed to be done on the mobo itself which i rather not do.

AlldressedUp--thanks for the Iwillxp333 suggestion-I'll look into that.

that's cool. But when that board will reach US shores? From what I've seen, the board is just starting to be available in Asia.
