I'm not looking to get married anytime soon, but I'm curious. Would there be anyway to put a fitness clause into a prenup?

Nothing extreme, but stuff like losing maternity weight 6 months after giving birth. Staying within a certain weight/body fat percent for the first 10 years.

I've heard athletes have to sign them for sports teams so is that precedent for a marriage contract? Thanks ahead of time.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!! How about if she want's to put a clause in that you must maintain a full head of hair, must not get a beer belly, must not leave the toilet seat up, must not snore, must not fart in your sleep, etc. Get over yourself.

Jesus H. Christ!!! First we have a moron bitching about this hot chick who gained 15 pounds and now she's not good enough to have sex with. Then we have a moron who owns himself trying to be a god damned gasoline elitist moron. Now this comes along. Is this the apocalypse for ATOT? Is this the beginning of the end?

Hey, moron, if you're that shallow and that self-fvcking-centered, don't procreate, please.

I'd like my future wife to be serious enough about her own health to stay in shape. I'm not going to force her to sign a legally binding contract about it, though.

Edit: And why the hell would it matter, anyway? Isn't the purpose of a prenuptual agreement to make sure that the richer party doesn't lose everything he/she had before the marriage in case of divorce? If you signed a regular prenup, and your wife gets fat and ugly, you can get a divorce and keep your stuff. What extra service does your "fitness clause" provide?

I don't mind people putting up my picture. I'm a 9.1 on hotornot. I'm a few months of lifting away from a 9.5.

But the question was "Is this clause legal", not "Is amp a bad guy for having standards".

CONSTRUCTIVE DESERTION

You also can be deserted even if your spouse does not leave. If your spouse's behavior is so cruel or despicable that you find yourself dialing suicide prevention, you can leave and charge your spouse with constructive desertion. Constructive desertion is basically defined as one person leaving the relationship-not necessarily the home. The following are some cases of marital misconduct that have been applied to constructive desertion:

Willful refusal of sex, without just cause and nonperformance of other marital duties as to practically destroy the home life. The denial of sex alone does not constitute desertion. The spouse also has to stop carrying out the mutual responsibilities of the marital relationship.
Conduct that endangers a spouse's life, safety, health, and even self-respect (although an isolated assault or two will not necessarily constitute cruelty unless the act was particularly severe and atrocious). http://www.marylandlawonline.com/md/family/divexpln.htm
