Put a BIOS password on so he'll need to enter it whenever the computer boots up.

Can't you put a password on an account? If there's no account he can log in to he couldn't get in, I don't know what you're getting at since you say he has his own account.. of course he'll be able to log in to that and browse..

If you don't want someone to get in your house, don't give them a key and wonder how they keep getting in :)

Change the password to the account to something you or your parents know. To get in the PC he has to get one of you to log in for him.

Just say some BS like XP is sophisticated and he can really mess things up so you need to protect it. I dont' see what the difference is in between a Bios password and a user password except one comes a bit earlier

Thanx for the info rommel....you fixed everything.I think the question is....How old are YOU?

I know him well enough to believe THE ONLY REASON he is skipping school is to hang out on the comp.

Anyway my question has been answered.

Ive learned not to give reasons behind my questions.
