I realize that some of you don't wash anything every day, but I need help settling a debate. Do you wash your feet, including the bottom, everyday?

Um, yeah, of course, when I am in the shower. What the hell kind of debate are you having?

I had a roommate who would wash her feet every time she came home. This was besides the shower every morning.
She never did it until she started studying mandarin. Is it a culture thing?

I mostly soap between my toes, and usually there's enough soap to get the other high-traffic areas - bottom of my feet, toes, etc.

Whenever I shower, I wash every square inch of my body, including top and bottom of feet, and in-between toes.

Now, the real question, is do I shower every day?
Not often is it that I go a whole week with a shower every day.
Not every day do I do a lot, and I get dry skin pretty easily. The natural oils are good to have, and unless you are doing a lot, constantly removing those oils does more harm than good in the long run. I don't like having skin so dry it flakes. :)

In the summer, I'll shower every day unless I just lounged in the AC all day.

Taking a shower and assuming your feet get clean by walking around in your soapy body run off doesn't count.

My feet are always in socks. I don't care if they aren't as clean as they could be. I rarely actually scrub them with soap and/or a brush. Just every so often.

No. I have some eczema on my hands and feet. It is made far worse by frequent washing. Plus, the medicine is a cream that gets washed away with the washing. So, I am very careful with limiting the number of washes. I shower at least 4 times a week (more if I'm dirty or sweaty for some reason). I rarely wash my feet between showers. So, no, I do not wash my feet every day.

I do frequenty change socks and shoes to prevent any odor or other problems though. How many people here claim not washing feet is disgusting then right after washing their feet put them in the same filthy Birkenstocks that they wore before the shower?

I wash my feet thoroughly a few times a week while showering. Some days I don't wash them directly though, I just let the soapy water that runs off my body clean them and then rinse and dry with a clean towel.

I do not have dry skin, foot odors, or fungus of any kind.
