I finally picked out a new 2500k/z68 combo, they're on the way. ssd caching looks like something I'll want to use with my 80gb intel g2 ssd since it's just small enough that I don't put my games on it, but it's large enough to take great advantage of this feature. From what I've read, you can partition a somewhat larger ssd and use part of it for ssd caching and part of it for whatever else (like maybe keeping your current OS on it). Has anybody tried this with or without reinstalling windows, and, if so, what were the results?

there is a thread/post about what you need to do if you want the OS and the SRT enabled on the same SSD, but it is a bit long for the average person to bother with.

Someone should be along with the link, but I do not have it on hand. Baiscally IIRC, you need to have a third drive to install the OS onto temperarily, then setup the SRT, then install windows a second time on to the left over space on the SSD.
