Ok, I have a abit NF7-S mobo with the nVidia MCP-T southbridge... otherwise known as the soundstorm. I also have a set of Logitech Z-560's.

Just today I was finally doing some good listening to music and I noticed that there was alot less bass then with my old SB live. Anyone know why this is the case? One thing that is annoying is there is not setting for a 4.1 system, just 2, 4, or 6 speakers.

Can I somehow make it realize that one cable is the front two speakers and a sub instead of just the front two speakers? or am I going about this a wrong way? I just want my powerful bass back without putting the sb live in again. thanks

I tried that but it did not seem to help, the thing that did help was clikcing the rear speaker phase shift, for some reason that made my bass ALOT more prominent, like it was with the sb live. thanks for the response

What are the buttons/knobs on the front of the control panel for the z-560s?
Also, how many plugs does it use? Just two - front and back? Or is there a third one for the subwoofer? I just thought of that - if it creates the LFE channel, it might just route it right to the center channel, and if there's nothing there...well, there's nothing there.
