Well like it says, when a young cat get's it's shots, can that make them dizzy and sleepy? Is that normal?

**UPDATE**

Ok ok ok... alright so it was my friends cat, so sorry no pics. (I could get some though) The thing is ~3 months old

They took the thing in to the ER for $99.

Didn't look that bad to me. I'll be a bad parent.

Edit2: OHH i didn't understand. I thought you guys wanted pics of the BEAST! Any pics will do!

Edit 3 NEW: PICS FOR TEH REAL!

If you look closely, you'll see where they shaved the poor buggers arm. I guess the doc said he had severe trauma to his arm, and it was making him sick/sleepy.

He's got some medicine now though and back to his rambunctious self.

It sometimes happens as a side effect - mostly a nervous reaction to the initial visit to the vet's office. Kitty also may not eat for a little bit afterwards.

How old - and oh yeah, pics? 😀

What did the vet say?

Haven't called yet. Not sure what to do, so we invoked the power of mass comunication.

Why the hell would you post here instead of calling the damned vet if that's an option? Unless they're closed or dumb enough to try to bill you for asking one question, ring them up.

GORGEOUS BABY KITTY!!

Don't worry about the side effects unless they last longer than 24 hours. Just give the kitty access to fresh water (he might not want to eat) and a place where he feels secure. I have a house full of grown up cats that get three shots a year... some of them still have the same side effects, and they go away within a day.

🙂
