Hey guys, I have an Intel ZX mobo running a Celeron 366 and was wondering how much faster a 533mhz Celery would be in this board (with v3.0 of course)? If it would be much faster I might upgrade.🙂
Btw I'm talking celery not celery2 on the 533mhz.😀
No, it's an Intel BI440ZX and the only bus speed it allows is 66mhz.🙁 I've tried the cpu in another system and it won't do 550 anyway. It'll do 457 ok though. I thought I'd max that board out with a 533mhz and use the 366@457 in my Gigabyte 6BXC which is running a P2-233@309mhz right now. That is if the 533 will help much over the 366. If it won't I was thinking of a 366@550 for the 6BXC.🙂
The ZX is the same as the BX, it just supports less memory....
I have a Tekram ZX board that will do 130Mhz FSB...
What is the make and model of your motherboard?
It's the Intel BI440ZX. On top of being Intel it's a socket 370.🙁
Edit: Actually it's my sister's computer I bought for her a year and a half ago. Whenever I upgrade my main system she gets the handme downs and then I take her old parts and put in my fleet.🙂 I just though as cheap as cpu's are now I might buy her a new one.😉
if it helps any, i am getting 10-12 hours on mine (466@581) sometimes i try clocking it @ 700 and can get one done in about 7 hours but it crashes some and isn't the most stable thing in the world.
