Question about wireless cameras

Lets say I want to set up a wireless camera. I'm not sure on the exact steps, so just checking.

I buy a camera, and plug that into an transmitter/reciever. Then on the other end I set up an antenna and hook that up to a tuner box and the tuner box has RCA outputs so I can hook that up to a VCR/PC/TV right?

I'm just confused on how I would display the image on the PC, I assume the tuner box (or whatever its called) has RCA (or some other TV compatiable) outputs correct? Also, would I need to use a TV Tuner card to display the image on a PC and record it?

Thanks. 🙂

Well, this isnt going to entirely be a "conventional" setup.
The remote portion NEEDS to be very lightweight. Also, I NEED to have good range (Hoping for 5 miles straight shot) so I also need to have a high gain ground antenna.

I've sorted out the remote end as far as gear but I just dont know what the ground station should have.

The remote will use a 2.4ghz 600mw transmitter/receiver set weighing it at 38 grams. The ground station will use a stock antenna with 13db gain patch on it.

Thats all based on advice from others, but I'm kinda curious excatly how I wire up the ground side as I've never done it before. That should be good for slightly over a mile, and I've seen other systems I could implement that should give me 5 miles or so but I start facing other issues at that point I think.
