question about windows xp

i had a laptop which i stripped and sold the parts....since im not using the windows any more is it legal to sell the coa sticker and cd?

pretty sure that's not legal.

Also pretty sure no one you sell it to cares if it is. (assuming cheap)

If it came installed with your laptop than it will be an OEM license and it is illegal for you to sell the license apart from the hardware. Not only will it be illegal for you to sell it, but this will also be going against their EULA so it would be illegal for whoever that buys this from you to use it unless it is used on the same laptop that this software came with.
