Question about Windows XP and Trident 9850 Card

I've got a Trident 9850 video card with TV-out. I know that Windows XP provides basic (non 3d accelerated) drivers for this card because Win2k did. Now, does anyone know if WinXP would likley or likely-not support the TV-out functionality of this card ( I know if you attach a TV and not a monitor the card itself will boot to dos on the tv but I don't know if XP would try and switch it back to "monitor mode"). Trident provides no Win2k/XP drivers at all for this card. Any help would be appreciated (and no I can't try it right now. Don't have the card with me at the moment).
