Question about Window XP and Vector Graphics...

I have heard a lot of exciteing news about how WinXP uses vector graphics rather than just regular bitmaps and pixels to draw objects and forms. Since this is the case, does increasing the resolution simply increase the detail used to draw rounded buttons and forms instead of making them smaller? Or does WinXP simply not use vector graphcs for this sort of thing?

Yeah, for instance, a button may be round and cool looking, but at 1600x1200 it would just have clearer sharper lines instead of becoming smaller and being just as blocky. This could be very cool, imagine not being able to see the pixels anymore!
