Question about where you work...

Just wondering about ya'll. Used to be a kind of standard thing for us until I started on shift work here.

we have the ability to flex hours, so we can work 4 9-hour days and then a half day on friday, or 4 10-hour days and no work on friday. So sometimes I leave early on friday and sometimes I have to work all day.

That's badass. I'd pull 4x10 to get a 3-day weekend. 🙂

Yea, were about the same here... as far as when we come in and when we leave, untill someone starts trying to screw the company. There is also a lot of people willing to rat you out on the drop of a dime.

We have a couple of people here that do that.

I would love to do that... I was thinking of becomnig of fireman just because that's their schedule.

This is my setup: WK1, I work Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun; WK2, I work Wed & Thu. Repeat. It's nice having a 3 day weekend every other week. But everything is in 13 hours shifts, so the weekend you work 39 hours in 3 days is rough.
