Question about voltages in Asia

Hi all
I ll be travelling to china for a few months and want to bring along my PS2 as well as some other mini-appliances. i know china uses different voltages(220V), I was wondering if my PS2 which is rated for 120V would work. Will i fry my ps2 if i do decide to try it? lastly can anyone recommend a good portable voltage convertor.
