question about vista licenses

i know that vista with oem licenses can only be install on onee computer. but can i transfer my retail license from one computer to another. i thought that being able to transfer licenses is one of the reason why the retail version is better
 
You may transfer a retail license as many times as you like, provided it is only ever installed on one system at a time.
 
Even if you go literally 100% by the license agreement, you are entitled to moving a retail license from one machine to another as long as it is installed on one machine at a time.
Microsoft must activate it for you based on their own license agreement.

The only thing that could change if you activate too many times, is that you may have to phone to activate, which only takes a few minutes.
