I can either get an ASUS HD4850 for $170 ($140 after rebate, but I don't always trust that my rebate will go through) or a Visiontek for $200 even. The only thing that makes the Visiontek seem better to me is their warranty, but I'm also planning on putting a S1Rev2 cooler on. I've already read through the official warranty, and it seems to say that as long as it's not damaged from after market cooling, the lifetime warranty still applies. But the thing is, I wouldn't be shocked at all if they SAY that the aftermarket cooling is what damaged it, so they don't have to fix it should anything fail... has anyone had any sort of experience with returning a Visiontek card?
I'm heavily leaning towards the ASUS, but can any of you guys convince me to get the Visiontek, even if I'm going to put some after market cooling on (which may end up voiding the warranty, if Visiontek decides)...?
