question about video clip capture...

Hey people I need help(..in more ways than one, but we wont go into that here 😉 )

My brother just got home from an extended tour of duty abroad, and a local news station did a piece on his units homecoming. There are clips within this news report of my brother holding up my nephew for the first time in two years.
Needless to say I'd like to record this off the news stations website and burn it to CD for him. I'm not really sure how I can do this, as I do not have any video capture specific software. I have only windows media player and quicktime (free version) can anyone help me with this?

Thanks for any help in advance...

I know that after you watch streaming video, the file is probably saved to your temporary internet files with a wierd filename. If you can find the right one, and give it the right extension, then you can play it whenever you want. I'm sorry I can't remember more specific details...
