Hi all,

I picked up an MSI kt800 939 mobo with no software. I have burned the via 4 in 1 drivers from another computer. Does anybody know if an ethernet driver is included in the 4 in 1?
I burned a gigabit lan driver from the msi site but it seems the exe file is a utility file and not the actual driver.

I am so confused.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. (I wasnt sure which forum to put this in so please dont blast me if this forum is wrong)

Hi Leigh6

Go HERE to d/l the ethernet driver. Click on win XP (or whatever OS), at the next screen you should see the ethernet divers, they are last on the list.

Thanks, There are 8 different ethernet controllers. Which one do I download?
What is the model of your MSI motherboard? It may use a discrete LOM chip or it may use the integrated VIA MAC + PHY chip. The driver you need depends on the hardware you have.

Edit: I see only one VIA S939 model from MSI - K8T Neo2. This board uses a Realtek 8110S controller:

Latest Realtek driver w/ install utility --> HERE

Latest Realtek WDM driver w/o install utility --> HERE #2

Sorry, I used the http tags instead of the ftp tags by mistake. The links are fixed now.

Your LAN hardware is made by Realtek and requires Realtek drivers.
