I recently bought a DFI AK74-EC motherboard (VIA KT133 chipset) and a Duron 800 CPU. I'll be replacing my computer's current motherboard & CPU (DFI K6XV3+/66 and a K6-2 400) with the new board & CPU sometime this week. It's been a while since I've installed VIA's 4-in-1 driver, so I don't remember which version I originally installed on my PC. However, at that time, I do recall several people suggesting not installing the VIA IDE driver in the 4-in-1 pack. Should I install the VIA IDE driver this time around? (I believe the current 4-in-1 driver release is version 4.32.) BTW I plan on installing Windows 98 SE on a freshly formatted hard drive. Thanks in advance for your responses.
