Question about Vanilla Sky....

In the opening scene, Cruise drives an old school Ferarri, but through the rest of the movie, he is driving an old school Mustang. Why the car change? It must be for some reason...

They mention it in the original.......he is driving a VW bug, when he also has a fancy sports car

I haven't seen Vanilla Sky, but I think Cameron Crowe can be kind of hit or miss. Almost Famous is one of my favorite movies of all time, but Crowe has a penchant for using really cheesy lines such as "Stop, you had me on hello," or "ask me again."

it was miscast. i can't get why tom would want cruz's char over diaz's char that kinda ruins it all.

I also did not like the movie and Penelepe Cruz is NOT all that like some people claim she is. Tom Cruise's disfigured face was rather disturbing to me.
