ok, so it's like this...

i am sitting here watching the top 100 one hit wonders on vh1, and my cousin says he bets vanilla ice is #1. i seem to remember vanilla ice having a second hit... so he's disqualified. he asked me to name the other song, but i dunno the name. i search online, but i can't seem to get the name of the song i am thinking of. all i know is that he was rapping about how everything thought he was just a one hit wonder, but he came back with another hit. anyone know what i'm referring to? is it "play that funky music"?
 
He did a cover of the Rolling Stone's "Satisfaction" - that's the song you're referring to. It
was on his second album and he changed some of the lyrics around to "diss" his critics.
 
Ice Ice Baby & Play That Funky Music were his 2 hits.


Edit: In fact, if I recall correctly "Play That Funky Music" was the first single and "Ice Ice Baby" was the B-Side to that.

i'm not sure if it counts as a hit or not.. but yeah, i think he redid 'play that funky music'.

actually, "ice ice baby" was on the B side of his album originally...until they realized it would be the most popular

It was "Supa-Shredder", not foot soldiers in that scene!
