When using fresh Basil from a big bunch, are you suppose to use the leaf along with the stem thats connected to the main trunk or just leaf w/o any part of the stem, or would either way make a difference?....im planning on making pesto
by the way - pesto freezes great - make batches in medium size jars if you have alot - and freeze the excess pesto - you can enjoy it all winter and tastes great.
