Im looking at buying an ATI TVwonder PCI. I already have a Geforce3 ti 500 with analog+Svideo+DVI output. What I want to do is get the TVwonder for tuner of course and a small LCD you see on sale for a around 100 bux (4-6" screens). Use the DVI for TV playback only. And my regular monitor for gaming+whatever.

Is this possible? Do the drivers act ok with the ATI and Nvidia products running together? Do the small lcd's im talking about have DVI input?

Any help is appreiated.

Thanks

Don't buy the ATI TV Wonder if you plan on running Windows XP. The ATI TV Wonder drivers sucks balls under Windows XP.

I'll second that as well, they royally suck under XP. Not to mention, there is a refresh rate problem between the TV Wonder's overlay and the nVidia drivers. It basically causes the TV to launch all scrambled, requiring a bunch of workarounds to fix it EACH time you launch the player. Of course ATI blames Nvidia.

I would get a more non-proprietarty tuner like the AverMedia TV Studio or a higher end Hauppauge (the Hauppauge WinTV Go and 401's suck, the PVR is nice, but expensive). In my experience, the ATI didn't like to work very well with 3rd party applications. Never could get sound because of the proprietary drivers and tuner chip.

I highly doubt the dual monitor function of XP will work with the TV Wonder and MMC 7.1 or 7.5.
