question about usb safety and autoplay

(computer with Windows 8.1)

I set autoplay to off.

In Choose autoplay defaults, to be safe, should I set autoplay to Open folder to view files, or to Take no action ?

I always "Take no action". That's my preference, security or otherwise. When I plug something into a computer, I don't necessarily want to use it that minute, and windows popping up, or things happening is irritating.

For security purposes, I don't think opening a file manager is detrimental if that's your preference.
