Question about upgrading drivers...

When you upgrade drivers like the VIA 4in1's, or the detonators...

Do you need to uninstall the old ones then install the new ones?

Or, can you just install the new ones over the old ones?

Some drivers will uninstall previous versions, some won't. I've uninstalled old drivers before installing new drivers and haven't noticed any difference than when I didn't uninstall the old drivers. Best bet is to read the instructions for the drivers.
