Would undergrads of a particular upper grade school (IE: UCLA undergrad and ANDERSON upper grad) get priority over those from other schools?

Lets say I go to UCLA, and then I want to apply to UCLA's ANDERSON for uppergrad

Would I get priority over a UC Berkeley studeny applying for UCLA's ANDERSON (hehe, taking into consideration that we are both similar in everyway and that he has no intent on HAAS :) ) thanks

well first off. ucla offers undergrad and graduate degrees.

andersen school is a specialized school on the campus, giving out graduate degrees in business. mba program too. i don't know the specifics right now. its a kick booty complex though. i walk through it many days on my way to classes.

there's really no priority for andersen. its highly selective (i heard 500 accepted out of 5000 applied) you just have to have great grades and probably some really good research proposal.

dunno bout anderson, but it's pretty easy to get into the seas grad school if you're an engineering student at ucla and you have good grades.

you don't get special priority, but you have a chance to take classes with the management school faculty that Berkeley students dont. So take advantage of that opportunity to take upper-div. management classes, get a recommendation or two, and you'll have at least a leg up on everyone else.

Yes I go to UCLA and no I'm not Bus-Econ or at Anderson :)

late.

Schools often like diversity and choose students from other schools for this reason.

Some schools will be glad to take their own over someone from the outside. Others are the opposite. I hear all diff. stories.

If you are in the Sciences, most schools do not take their own college graduates for their grad schools.
