Question about two different digital cameras

Ok not sure where to ask digital camera questions but figured this was where. Circuit City this week has the Kodak CX7300 3.2 MP camera and Canon Powershot A400 camera on sale. Basically I am looking for anyone who has used either of these cameras and what they think of them. Or links to some good reviews. I am looking for a decent digital camera to take vacation pics on that is under $200 and these two fit that bill. Is the Kodak one a decent camera even though it is only $99 and is the Canon one a pretty solid $150 camera? I would like to have optical zoom functionality, which the Canon has but the Kodak does not. So how well does the digital zoom work on the kodak?
Or does anyone have any other recommendations for sub $200 cameras?
And what are your opinions of buying digital cameras off ebay?
