Okay, so after a few friends spamming me telling me I have to get Trillian because it's the greatest program ever (yes, these people revolve around IMing and e-mailing), but anyways, I break down and download Trillian. It seems pretty cool, but I noticed it left a lot of it's cache files on my desktop even though I had it install to C:\Program Files\Trillian..

Here's a screenie: Screenie
Thanks for pointing out the mistake and fixing the link.

ermm... from the looks of it, did you install it directly on your desktop ? Or do you have your default windows temp directory set to your desktop? that's the only two ways I could figure this would happen as I have been using trillian for over a year and love it, nothing like this has ever happened running it in Windows 98, 2000, and XP Pro.

I just installed Trillian over the weekend or so, but I didn't see that happen to me.

I did the basic download and "save to disk" in my "install programs" folder in MyDocuments. From there, I ran the program and let it do whatever it wanted. No custom settings; no custom installs; no redirected install directory.
